Dear Trackists,Here comes Christmas! Ho Ho Ho! I hereby wish all of you a Merry Christmas and of course a upcoming Happy New Year! Please take good care of yourself during this festive season as I know most of us will indulge in all the good food, drinks and also the parties and staying ups. These comes with a cost of getting sick if you don't know how to control yourselves =X.Regarding training next week, tomorrow is Christmas so it's definitely cancelled for you guys to relax. As for the rest, please let me know if you people are interested in training or not as I have feedbacks that some of us want to study and stop for training that week.An end of a year marks a new beginning for our story. Let's work hard next year towards our aspirations and goals! Gambete guys 'cos time is never on our side. Hence, I hope you guys enjoy yourself to the fullest while you still have time to do so and start to go all out for training and studies next year. Treasure your time and every happy moment my friends. Take care and see you guys around. With Love and Care,
Jun Cheng

Dear Trackists,
It's kind of rusty and dusty around here. Shall clear up this blog and keep it active so here I am to just type some stuffs.
Time do fly right? The time now is 0145, 15 December. Counting from the day we officially started off, it has already been 5 months and 2 weeks. During this period of time, I've enjoyed every training with you guys, though never did we had a full attendance for any of the training sessions due to various reasons. Each moment with you people added smiles and happiness no matter how bad I was feeling at any point of time. I'm thankful to have met you guys as my buddies, brothers and friends.
Well, all things that start will have an end sooner or later. I guess it is what we call Fate. And because of that, I think I should make it known to all of you since it's more or less known already. My dear leg has sort of given up on me due to an accident that cause two severe muscle tear on my hamstring and calf and another two ligament tear on my knee and ankle. According to the doctors I've visited so far, there is only a small chance I would heal and will not fully recover. Therefore, I am to, supposedly, stop all sports and vigorous activities for good, which will include my running.
I appreciate all the care and concerns I've received from all of you but some things can't be helped. If I were to remain like this for the rest of my life, I would want to end it adter I've accomplish my goals that I've set. I hope to see every single one improve and if possible, be good enough to take part in National events for an experience. That is what keeps me going and pushing myself in trainings. I don't know how long that leg could last anyway, but I'm praying for it to last me till everything ends.
I wonder if any of you have ever thought seriously about this: Why are you in Trackists and what are you running for? I'm fascinated at the fact that running is already a necessity in my life since when I'm young running has always been a nightmare for me. Yet, after all these time, it has become a perfect substitute for my past hobbies - Dance and Basketball. Whatever that has brought us together was something that is so simple. I would really treasure this bond and memories we've shared and gone through together as a team. Even when life was collapsing for me, even when XAC ain't going to hold on any longer, I've never lost you guys.
My senior in Dance once said: It's hard to have friends who share the same passion as you, let alone burning the passion with you. Thanks for having faith in me though I'm not the best. Thanks for letting me lead you people as a captain though I was never up to it. Thanks for not blaming me during the harsh words in training. Thanks for being there whenever I was on the verge of collapsing. Thanks for every single thing you guys gave me. I'm proud to be here and I hope to see all of you through till we step down for A' Levels. For now, I will end here. Let us run along this path till we teach the finishing line...together as a team.
Yours Truly,
Jun Cheng

hey people!i'm back from yunnan, china.i miss you all and a little of trainings.haha.i know your dun believe but it is a fact. as a matter of fact, i did my part to buy presents for the entire track team, hope you like it. well, i dun mind recieving some "thank you"s.haha.
now to tell you a little more of my trip. as some of you may know, i wasnt looking forward to this trip cause i dint know alot of people. But then, once i reached kunming, everything changed for the better. the people are not as bad as i think but i must say the food there is horrible.argh.and i dint eat alot. i was hungry and kept complaning.(i know some of you sure say it is so typical of aunty.haha.good eh?) if i never remember wrongly, i ate fruits.haha
moving on to shangrila, the weather was freaking cold and i wore alot of clothings. my log comm memebers say i look like a fat penguin.so evil.but i ignore them.haha.the best and main part of the programme was to interact with the sizhong students. their eagerness to learn and readiness to embrace everything touched me that most. it is a moment that i will never experience or see it in singapore. they certainly impressed me alot.i was totally blown away.dutring their campfire night, two sizhong girls held my hand each and asked me whether i was cold or not. when i said yes, they immediately rubbed my hands to give me warmth. at that moment, i didnt feel anything. it was only when i returned to the hotel and share reflections with my friends did i realise that it was very heartwarming.i almost teared because i never ever recieved such care and concern from anyone. it was the first. some of you may think that "like that also can ar?" but then i must say, a simple gesture from them is sufficent for me. the next morning, it was time for us to bid adieu. there were alot of emotions running through me because..(i cant really explain). and in the end, i could not take it and just broke down crying, like a tap that runs forever. i also dint understand why i cried like that, but maybe it is just human nature. leaving them after interacting them with 6 hours was heart wrenching for me. they did not want us to leave but then, good things never last. here's a question for you guys to ponder:" why are real flowers pretty?". once you know the answer then i will tell you another thing.
moving on to the second part of the journey, it was shopping time at Lijiang, gu cheng. it is my favourite cause i like to buy things.haha.there the things are super cheap but you know, i still got bargain la.haha.i only follow wad everybody does ok?(so dun say i aunty)by doing so, i did save up quite alot of money.the funny thing is. i think i bought alot of things but in actual fact, it comes down to nothing. depressing.i regret not buying more things.(although some claim to be)and i hope that your will aprreciate.
i think i cant write anymore cause i doubt there is anymore space.haha.joking.but i want to tell your the interesting stories face to face. i think i can say it with more conviction and attitude.haha.joking.anyway, you all will be seeing me again.haha.excited right?ok, please contain it and leave it for tomorrow.until then, i am signing off.bye.take care and good night.smile always:)

All right ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, aunties and uncles,
listen carefully,After much discussion with Dianah, we've come to a decision that we
shall not go for MacRitchie Run tomorrow but instead we shall window shop and look at running shoes at Queensway. The reason being that Sunday we have Standard Chartered Run so it would be better to rest for a day before that what-seemed-like-never-ending-10km-road makes you faint. If you are interested,
feel free to let me or Dianah know and
we shall meet at noon (12pm sharp!) Tiong Bahru MRT and go lunch first.Next up is that I hope everyone can take care of your own health and not fall sick as I can't stress enough that the weather is not good. Drink more water and take more vitamins from tablets, fruits, vegetables and so on. Lastly, rest enough (especially to those night cats like Dianah...=X) so that you can be revitalised for the next day. See you guys around =]
