Hey guys,
Seems like our dear blog here is getting dusty already. I guess its probably due to the coming A' Level Chinese this Friday. So in advance, I shall wish
all of you taking this test good luck and all the best. Praying for you people a low hurdle to cross so that you guys can just walk over it with a laugh =D.
In the meantime, a small reminder that
tomorrow (01/11/06) 8 am will have CCC training by Mr Poh & Mr Ang. Meeting place is PE porch. If possible do try to make it but if you think that you need more time to study feel free to let me know.
Oh before I forget,
do you guys want to meet up for lunch after Chinese A's? If you guys want then I will come to school to run instead of going Clementi Stadium. Please reply soon!! xD
I hope everyone is doing well and still healthy. Please do try to exercise more if you have spare time and drink loads of water 'cos the weather is quite extreme. In short, rest well and take care! See you guys around =)

~ IMPORTANT! ~
Trackist, I'm sorry to announce that THURSDAY'S training is cancelled due to the fact that a lot of us cannot make it and the fact that OGL stuffs may end around 1330 and by then with lunch and such it will have to be pushed back. Therefore, training is pushed to Saturday right after our run with the others. Please let me know if you are attending on Saturday BY TONIGHT because there is a short meeting for you people over lunch after training.
Lastly, for those free on Friday and interested in Laser Quest also let me know. Thanks for the cooperation and that's all.

The Sentosa trip is over in an blink of an eye.
First off, I would like to apologise for the lousy planning for amazing race again such that most of us didn't get our chance to play and ejoy to the fullest, let alone complete all stations. My bad for that, especially the cake for caking was screwed and that I did not get the message that we are suppose to cake together. It was draggy at one point as shurong was trying to salvage the pandan cake, which explains why I've kept you all at the pavillion.
I would like to thank Xinyun, Shurong and Dianah who planned a lot of things for today. Without them I think today will be more messed up with your blur captain here. Really appreciated that. Also, for everyone else, I would like to salute to you all for making the effort to come here and made it a full attendance for the first time in Trackists' history, even when some of you are sick and injured. THANK YOU!! =D
Guys, I hope today's fun will still continue on in our life with more outings on our free time. As for now, let's move on together for more training, 'cos we've got ourselves a challenge here: our own limits.
How much are you going to achieve by the end of next year or even rest of your life will depend on the effort you are going to put in. I hope we are sharing a common goal to really reach out to the sky and improve like you have never done before, even if you are not interested in competitions (like the current me).
With that, I hope to see you guys around in school if my toe is alright like today. Take good care people and keep yourself healthy. Rest well!
From the bottom of my heart,
JC

~IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL TRACKISTS!~
There will be
no Trackists training for this week due to the
haze problem. Today PSI reads as high as 130 so I don't wish to risk anyone's health. Even I have problem breathing comfortably when i walk too fast. At the same time, it would be a good time for those taking OP to prepare better.
Wednesday's training by Mr Ang will be further notified. As for
Saturday's outing, all will be fine and ongoing unless *touchwood* that the PSI hits at a dangerous rate. Anything else I will further
notify through message and this blog, so keep updating yourself here people. In the meantime, please
TAKE CARE, DRINK MORE WATER and REST WELL =).With Regards,
JC

@ 12:04 AM
Dear Trackists,
I know some of you are not going to make it for tomorrow (14/10/06) training. So I shall make some speech here and take this chance to make things clear to every single one of you.
First off, I would like to apologise for my foolish act:
by bringing in my own personal feelings and problems and mix it with Trackists trainings and so on. I'm very sorry for acting like some idiotic zombie showing some stupid grumpy face, especially when we were about to go for helping out at Open House today.
Next, I believe that i owe you guys an explanation to the above and it is about time to provide a reasoning. I would have to admit my life is in quite a chaos right now at this point of time whereby my pillars in life holding my aspirations collapsed all in one go. Putting personal matters like family stuffs aside,
the main reason why I got so frustrated is the fact that XAC will have to cease to exist. It is a great blow to the Exco as well as the enthusiastic members like most of you, and frankly speaking with that much planning for the sake of XAC we felt cheated, betrayed, whatever you name it. What's so impacting is that I have viewed XAC as one promising club-to-be and treated it as my soul. To make things worse, your good friend here had made a promise for trainings to be as fun as possible and I was just giving empty promises, in the end giving more disappointments
I cannot bring myself to blame the teachers 'cos if I had to blame it would be the school's administration for putting pressure. But I'm a human still and it's kind of hard to accept that all this was just an illusion to get us into a trap. And if everything stops there, I would have taken it more lightly. Cherlynn posted me one question randomly after hearing you guys discuss after meeting with Mr Ang. That put me in great dilemma. She asked
"Are you guys still having individual trainings after we change our name officially? Even when we are all under the team Track & Field?". I thought she had a point there. We have become a team doing the same thing already. So what am I going to do? Discriminate others by having our own small clique here and train extra? Or to open up to all others, but at the risk of losing our own clique time and fun with that?
At that point of time, I couldn't think of a win-win solution. I was really at lost but I guess it was selfish of me to keep it to myself till now as I didn't want you guys to worry.
Now I hope it isn't too late for me to gather the fellowship again to stand by me and come up with something. I hope what we initially believed in will still remain, and the bond will last for as long as it can hold. That, will be a discussion I will hold with all of you soon. For now, I hope to redeem myself for all the dumb things I've done that made me seems, in fact, like a loser that ain't fit to lead all of you. I promise to learn from that and I swear to try hard and keep things going as long as I still have pulse and you guys have the passion. In the meantime, feel free to feedback to me on anything literally, good or bad so long as it is not too crappy. With that, I hope to see all of you around.
Sincerely,
JC

@ 12:44 AM
Dear Trackists,
I hope you all had enjoyed yourself today, at least relax and take a good breather from the stress you all had from promos. I sincerely apologise for such a badly organised outing without really planning what movie to watch and where to eat, especially to dianah for not checking thoroughly with everyone hence not knowing you've watched it already. I promise you guys the next outing i plan will try to be better than today.
Upcoming trainings will get tougher subsequently if the haze and other things like our OP doesn't come in the way that it disrupt the training schedule i have planned earlier on. So in the meantime, take good care of your health and try not to miss any trainings as much as possible before anything that crops up which may stop training for a period of time (which i seriously hope nothing of such will ever come up).
Any feedbacks regarding anything concerning trackist like outings and trainings feel free to comment to me and let me know. For now, rest well and stay smiling always! =)
With Regards,
JC

First off, to those having their last paper, all the way and hit the finishing line with every ounce of muscle (brain & wrist muscles, that is). We can all do it!! =)
Next up, I will be passing jerseys to those going for promos tomorrow. For Xinyun, Lastrina & Abigail, do collect your jersey with Shu Rong. Those jerseys with
wordings creased,
do iron it with medium heat inside out (to prevent damaging of the print due to direct ironing).Final update on outing as follow:
Date: 06/10/2006Attire: Trackist JerseyDetails:
- Those having lunch, meet up at Dhoby Ghaut North-South line (aka the red line) control station at 1230.
- Movie at Cathay Cineplex so for Dianah & Lastrina who are not coming for lunch let me know when you two are meeting us.
- Dinner to be discussed again due to buffet at Suki Sushi not available for dinner.
- Approximate to be spending around $35.Last but not least, training will
ReSuMe on
Saturday (07/10/06). Don't worry, it will be a pick-up session to regain everyone's physical fitness. More information will be released to you guys on Friday itself.
That's all I have for now. Everyone do take care as I don't want anyone to miss out the fun on Friday because you are sick. See you guys around!
